Azazel’s Kitchen moving South

The merge of Art Does It with The Center for Art and Trades enters its seventh month in coastal Alabama.
Southern “hot” ended, and we’re planning our trip to the North CAT campus in upstate New York.
We’ll shore-up buildings for snow weight and bring CAT’s Azazel’s Kitchen— the Foundry- and its metal pouring, mold making, wax and investment equipment back to CAT South.
Note the many stages of clay, wax, spruing and metal finishing.

How Did “Art Do It” this Week?
Art Does It arrives to you despite internet challenges and the annoying task researching unlimited bandwidth plans.
Our upcoming AL2NY trip North requires portable publishing,
So, I watch the mailbox for the Google fi unlimited wireless sim card. When it arrives, it promises to solve all my publishing problems.
(You’ll be the first to know with paid subscriber posts in the
for the love of process section!)
Sketchbook

At CAT South, construction, preservation of art objects, repairs, consolidations, new ventures; it is an unending list of to-dos.
Mixed with all is: creation, excitement, and some fear.
In between climbing on roofs and digging fence posts this week, I
- promoted ADI and CAT with new videos, graphics and content across socials. (Look for process posts on Art Does It and Cat!)
- authored an animation tutorial for the new IOS Procreate Dreams app
- drew with a real pen on paper
The draw of the draw, is to create without interruption,
and I now arrive with pen.
I hope you enjoyed this free portion of Art Does It’s paid subscriber weekly letters.

I like the words “You are the Art”
Those words are my mantra in the memoir, “See How’ You Are” below.
In the second sketch, below, Failure or Change is Good, we have the youngest member of the Art Dogs, Little Wing, in repose.

“You are the Art”
“Failure or Future- Change is Good”
Procreate Dreams
This week's personal note is my haiku dedication to my two passed cats, May I and Sushi. I used my Procreate Dream tutorial work for a base.

See How You Are?

Tage- “An artist doesn’t sign his work because the audience is the Art”
Regina- “No, You are the Art.” “I am the Art, we all are, the Art.”
Two artists, two viewpoints. What is your take?

Art Heals
Art Dogs, Art Cats, Art Horse
Last month, November, marks 14 and a half months since Benno’s passing, his birthday (he would be 81) and our 16th anniversary.
I am thankful for our beautiful memories and Art.
Last month, I lost some of our animal friends.
My Mina- my Girl for 21 years at CAT North and South. She is the model and inspiration for my connection to horses.

Sushi Cat—my buddy and critic for 10 years in the South. Even on hot nights she would keep me, the laptop, paintings, and supplies well covered with fur.

May I- My one of four musketeers, left too soon. Her endless affection I miss.

Thank you for reading and supporting the dream of ADI and CAT:
Our dream, our mission is to build a free Art and Trades school in the North and South.
Next week please look for our podcast discussing the schools.
Have a wonderful week!
